Welcome to the forums. What these people are forgetting to say is that GIMP, or some other program would be much better for drawing. I guess they were in too much of a hurry to put you down than to suggest something better than MS Paint.

NOTused, i usually use flash cs3 to make art
<---like my avatar, but I've heard that art tool sai is a nice little free program you could make art in.
or you could get Photoshop. But you'd have to pay for it.

I think it's (much) harder to draw things in Flash than it is in MS Paint.

really? how so?
i make all my art in flash with mouse but i wouldn't even think of doing that in paint.

The brush and snapping in Flash are ridiculously obnoxious, and personally, I can't be productive when the stroke I'm drawing changes after I lift up the pen. Newer versions of MS Paint aren't even pixely or anything. The only major gripes I have are the lack of layering and the shitty fill tool.
