Hello SP community! Milo Switch here with a second music thread because nobody posted on the last one (can you believe it?) so... Here we go again.

As we all know, Matt and Kim's songs have been tried and tested and truly deserve to be the backbeat to a few of the community's favorite animations. Silver Tiles, Good Ol' Fashion Nightmare, and Daylight are favorites for animators who, no other word for it, like to have fun!

Kid2will is a miracle worker with synthronizers and well defined beats. His songs are great for synchronizing an animation to. They just add a special backbeat that you can't get anywhere else. Here is a sample. This is called "Fire Aura"

if you want a demented song by a totally crazy wierd guy, go to songstowearpantsto.com if you want to animate comedic short.

Have any songs to add? Post em'

That's actually some pretty good stuff there.
However, I can imagine that this would be very hard to synchronize an animation to. I dunno, the beats just seem much to fast for most people to be able to keep up with.

Yeah, but it would be pretty awesome if someone did. Kid2will has a few slower songs but they're all pretty fast.
(e.g. "Night Sky")

When music is written for the sole purpose of introducing a video game, you can't really call it a song. Maybe a theme song but nobody wants to hear the opening music of Barney either.

Well, it's a good thing we've passed the infant stage and grew a brain. I don't know about anyone else, but the only time I was happy to see a big purple dinosaur dancing in my television was when I yelled, "Mommy look!" after every trip to the lavatory.

So you're saying only infants listen to theme songs. So apparently I'm an infant.

Probably. Kidding. I'm only talking about Barney.

Actually you can call it a song, because it is one. The definition of music doesn't include a clause about purpose.

OK, you can call it what you want
I don't think of them as real songs.
