I am really getting sick and tired of some many people forfeiting their battles. I understand that most are busy with school or work ,but if you know that is going to be a problem then don't accept the challenge. If you already accepted, then make a short 2-4 combo then end it...nothing fancy, just something better than seeing:
"RHg1 vs Rhg2"
"RHG2 forfeits"

they need to set the times further- they don't realise RHG battles can take months.

If someone forfeits, maybe just don't post it to the Battle Zone and put a win on your RHG page, that's better and cleaner

no because if they forfiet after 3 weeks in, then they still have part of a great anim that we want to see.

just have them COMMIT to the battle.

Lately, I won for forfeit, but, after thinking a little up, I decided to not count anymore all the forfeits, thinking that it would be quite by bas**rds doing otherwise.

We should eliminate the winning by forfeit, since then it's not a fair fight

it is all about how far in they are. If it is one day in- that's ridiculous. If it is in the last few days of a month forfiet- with an anim 80% done- one could still win with what they have.

I'm of the opinion that an RHG fight should be more considered as a way to test ourselves

And that is something we can actually enforce- if we see a thread with both not done- we could (as a community) 'force' them to extend and finish.

Forfeiting isn't a problem at all really, An rhg battle is really fun even if your opponent doesn't finish his battle part.
With you finishing your battle you could get more known and get a bigger fanbase on the site.
The opponent can be busy or whatever, still, like i said, a battle is always fun to animate.

It's actually pretty annoying if you wanted to gauge your skills against the other person, for example if the other guy's a great animator to see if you would have been able to win the battle.
If they forfeit then you'll never know, and you won't be completely satisfied even though you've made a good animation.
Just my opinion, anyway.

A deathmatch is always good and accurate especially when it comes to competitions or even if it's just skills, but sometimes, things just dont work out like what you expected it to be and as result, that's what happen, you have to forfeit because you have a test and if you fail, your life is over because you just flunk one of your reuqirement class, nothing important or anything fancy but just for that animation that made you fail your life, so ya know guys, sometimes, you just have to, it's not something an individual can control, no one can tell the future, for example, you may say you have the time today but what if you accidently break your finger tomorrow or something, you think that's gonna do? not really right? but yeah the point is that whether you're partner forfeit it or not, just please dont mind them because everyone has a life and life is important, :) anyway enough said, just understand what's in life and be willing to forgive others :)
