I had a sketch posted, then imported it to flash and had it redone, with lots of colors, shading, lighting, and FX

for those who are curious, here's the sketch

Yes I used flash instead of sai, yes I used mouse instead of tablet, and yes, I. Used. BRUSH. 48 smoothing.
Against all odds, I pulled this through, and I'm very happy with the results.

Things I like:
- The head for the most part. It's really simple and expressive. The hairs pretty good for generic spikey hair.
- His outfit. It's pretty cool.
- The shading. For the most part, it's dark and light in all the right places, and it's really good when it comes making the whole thing look bright and hazy.

Thing that I don't like:
- The folds in the clothes. They don't fold like that and they look really weird and unnatural. Especially the belt and cape. Drawing a bunch of random lines doesn't make it look good and does nothing for the viewer. Less is more, you know.
- The rips in the cape and arm. They look so weird man. Like needles. Not rips.
- The arms. There's like no definition and it looks pudgy as hell. Like a 5th graders, not some 6' 3" 20+ year old.
- This is pretty insignificant but the ear. It's small and twisted. Like a raisin.

Anyway. It's really good. Just work on some shit.

And dude, use the line tool or something if you're going over something and you want your lines to look neat. Just saying.

Line tool gives it too much outline for me.
not everyone here is after details, neither was I when I drew this I looked at the "big picture " next time Ill focus on details like those, but dont 'expect me to not make the same mistakes.
