Anyone else going to be purchasing this? I wouldn't if it wasn't for the four player splitscreen co-op, I can't play minecraft online because of the lags
Quote from Hatchet HaroI don't think I like it much from the looks of it. I don't like playing first-person games with a controller pad. It gives you limited speed in turning, and may be a nuisance if you play it for the first time. I'm sticking with the PC version. More flexible.
Quote from Captain Cookholy shit, split screen? I'm buying this.
Quote from 2-Dsplitscreen gamin???????????????????????? fuk, notch musta taken months off vacationing to program such a difficult feature!!!!!!!!!
and who in their right mind is going to want to play vanilla minecraft? you are aware how fucking boring it is, right?
Quote from General DouchingtonWhat is the point of playing Minecraft on Xbox? No, seriously, what is the point? Pretty much everybody has a computer, and you're pretty much garuanteed to run Minecraft fine on any toaster-oven level piece of shit you have. And, by default, the Xbox version is inferior to the PC version...
I'm not piecing this together. Braindead morons who think computers are too hard to operate so it's somehow easier to play on an Xbox?

Quote from Chunkyit's not vanilla as far as i'm aware, it's still got the nether and is going to be constantly upgraded
i mean, it's not exactly difficult to put a splitscreen in, i'm not exactly praising mojang for being great and whatever, but it's still going to be enjoyable to play regardless?

i mean, if you're an autistic i guess you won't understand (90% of everyone here)
Quote from Skelet0nIn my opinion, this won't ever be as popular as the PC version. Sure it may have less lag, sure multiplayer may be easier to carry out. But it still will always be inferior to the PC version of this game. I highly doubt that you'll be able to carry out custom mapping and modding on the xbox version. Haro proved a point playing a game such as Minecraft will need some getting used to seeing that you're now looking at it through another prospective. But it's going to take more than split screen to take me away from my beloved PC version of this game. Oh, btw 1-8 multiplayer? Iv'e been on servers that hold 120 people without any lag.
