I was looking forward to playing the new SOF, which I picked up today after finally being released in Australia. I had played the previous ones which were full of violence and fun dismemberment so I know what I had to look forward too. Anyway I load it up, and open fire on a bunch of terrorist.

Nothing happens, not even a hit of blood. I thought to myself, okay thats odd maybe I didn't hit them right. So next group of enemies I see I lob a heap of grenades into them and again nothing happens, I go up and look around. There isn't even a hint of blood anywhere.

So now I am getting ticked off, so I look it up on the net and find out to my disgust that the Australian Govt. has banned it. Then it has come back with no dismemberment, no blood splatter, a reduced ragdoll engine and greatly reduced blood spray. This time it is accepted.

Seriously what the fu[size]ck? I mean, they haven't even changed th[/size]e box art which warns about violence that only those with a strong stomach can view. WHAT FU[/size]CKING VIOLENCE, YOU SEE MORE F[size]UCKING BLOOD IN A NOSE BLEED THEN THE EN[/size]TIRE GAME. I mean for fuc[/size]ks sake that was the only thing going for it. And now because of the reduced ragdoll engine the enemies die in a total of 5 whopping positions.

This "censoring" is going way to fuc[size]king far, thing is that the Australia Go[/size]vt. refuses to create a M17+ or R18+ Rating, because they think that all games are sweaty little 12 years olds who might be exposed to something they shouldn't be. I mean on XBL about 90% of my friends are over 18.

Isn't that technically infringing on your personal rights for a government to say what you can and can not see in a videogame?
