ye the explosion was really good :)

for the demo, the effects where kinda slow,
maybe try using a large square with an radial fill, with in the middle alpha 0
and on the sides alpha 100
then let that fade to alpha 0
then you have like cool side glows,
it really gives the animation a nice feelin
so maybe you can try that

for the goop,
awesome..

The top part of the goop moves up and then just stops at a certain point which makes it look odd, otherwise I like it!
