megaswf I heard doesn't keep canvas size at times, it can be a real hassle.

I mean you gotta keep people updated on stuff, part of having an active clan is actually being active.

Even if that means posted a little more than you usually do just on this specific thread.

Well, I know that, but you guys aren't looking for a new member ever since Nova1Duke left and got permabanned. Not to mention that the frontpage hasn't been updated even though Chaocaster appears more frequently on either Skype or IRC.

Oh, and take it from a FA vet, I have seen other clans more active behind the scenes, for example, HEX is a good example, and also Zetabrand.

So I get it that everyone's active, but they should at least, I don't know, let EVERYONE know about it before disappearing into the void and work on shit. This is the straw that broke the camel's back. You can't just not tell everyone about what the clan's doing and leave it look like it's inactive, this is what kills most clans. You've got to let everyone know about your activities and future plans, otherwise you'll leave everyone in the dark and start to think that the clan's dead. Once that happens, one by one, members start to leave and thus killing the clan in the end.

At least Zetabrand reminds everyone that they're still live and breathing and tells what they're up to.

I love how you guys really haven't grasped the concept of clans yet.
We don't have to tell you guys didly, we never said we wanted fans, and we don't recall ever wanting supporters.

You still treat clans like they're some kind of rock band; We don't HAVE to tell you guys what's gonna be on our next album.
You don't HAVE to pay attentions to us, the reason we're all here is to help each other progress and improve throughout the field of animation.
THAT is the purpose for the members of rebellion, the reason we haven't opened tryouts is because duke always comes back, and we're still deciding if we even SHOULD open tryouts; He may be permabanned, but we're never on the forums to discuss clan matters anyway.
There is NOTHING telling us we can't do so otherwise.

REBELLION has survived this long giving you maybe about 1/10 info of what we're doing.
What kills clans? How do clans die? When the leader's enlightened on the situation that the clan can no longer go on; but chaocaster is still going strong as a leader, and we're still going strong as members, There's no sign of dying at all.

I wanna ask you sk, were YOU in any of the clans you mentioned? do you have a standpoint from both views? No, we're not following the traditions of other clans just because it's something established among fellow clans.
Why the front page is in need of updating falls on the members, chao needs elements for the page that we have to provide for him; in that way it's not his fault the clan isn't updated yet.

This all goes to the rest of you clan fags who spout "inactivity, supporters, fanbase, and dead clans" from your mouths.

Also, here in rebellion we're basically all equal; Devin may be leader, but by rebellion standards he organizes more things for us than anything else.
