I don't appreciate his music at all to be honest but then again, there are few pop-culture-musicians I appreciate overall. I see them more as voice puppets than musicians. Here in Sweden we have a contest called the Melody Festival that is shot at the globe in Stockholm before the whole country and many Swedish pop-stars enter. When their song is introduced, I usually see people sitting by their 'table' and of course, they're introduced as song writers. Thus, I believe no pop-musician writes their own music and thats why I don't really appreciate it (as in liking it FYI). I mean, sure you can sing, but what good does it when you can't make anything yourself to sing about?
