Is God all-powerful?

This would imply that, as you go back in time 13.7 billion years, God was significantly less powerful. Yet he still managed to create the entire universe at that point.. so how does that make sense? How was he able to create the physical laws of the universe, but after 13.7 billion years of becoming more powerful, still be restrained by them?

These sort of questions are fucking stupid either way. Anyone who thinks god is a being who would be physically limited by some human-like muscle structure to be incapable of "lifting" a rock has a very unusual way of imagining god.

Common logic doesn't really come into play here. I get your point, but God is something we know NOTHING about, so how can we use him to prove anything?

i don't believe in god, i believe in science (and this is a stupid thread).
