hi
i only recently started animating, and this is my second official animation (been seriously animating for less than a year). it is still rough around the edges because I'm still working on it. when you watch the animation there is a part where the black stick-figure turned around, it's really awkward, and also the reaction of the orange stick-figure after the laser attack is also awkward. i would like a general constructive criticism and how i can improve the awkwardness in the animation. here is the link to the animation http://www.fileize.com/view/6936173c-205/

I gotta say animate more frames,you have imagination and good effects but your taking too many shortcuts with the animating itself.

Try and add a little 3d to the black stick during the turn. Use perspective on the sword and stick to get the turn down. And for the orange stick, try and add recoil during the laser.
