Has anyone else had this? One day when I tried to open the first scenario of the Genghis Khan Campaign then The game closed automatically and I saw a message saying it has encountered a problem. The same happens with the first scenarios of El Cid, Montezuma,William Wallace and now even when I start a normal game. Can anyone tell me it's solution?

AOE2 is a great game, if you own a legal copy I would suggest reinstalling it. Delete all of the documents related to AOE2 before installing it back on. That might fix any problems. If you want you could move your saved scenarios etc. onto a USB, PHD or even a seperate folder - I would suggest just putting it on your desktop so you can just quickly cut and paste it.

If that works it would be a very simple fix. Good luck.
