View Profile you don't know what a merge is, do you?
I know exactly what a merge is but so far all the answers I've gotten regarding moving every piece of FA there ever was to SP have been either 'no', 'don't count on it' or 'forget it', such as my suggestion of getting a user-submittable portal like FA here. It may seem like a suggestion and not anything to do with the merge but I personally don't see the difference between moving the FA portal here or making a new one. Except maybe the design, idk.
EDIT: Another one was moving the FA currency to SP which has also been a 'no' so far.

View Profile AG, it's not a simple cut and paste job to bring the FA portal over here. I wrote the FA portal into the phpbb system FA used, so anything to do with user data is entirely based around what FA had, which is pretty much every thing. SP uses vBulletin and has a completely different database. So not only would the FA portal need to be revised to work with vBulletin, but it would also need it's database entries updated to reflect the new IDs for the vBulletin users, which is easier said than done.
Moving the FA portal here would be a lot of work, whereas according to what I've been told, the SP portal has been in development for like 2 years, so it makes more sense to just keep the one that's been worked on.

View Profile Oh yeah and I totally understand Jeff, I was just telling Exilement I do in fact know what a merge is lol. Hence my post he quoted earlier said what it said-that FA could be just a user-submittable portal and tutorial website just for that sole purpose since it's damn hard to make another portal nearly from scratch. It could be like another division of SP maybe.

View Profile Cashmoney I don't think Jeff's making the SP portal. If he did it'd probably be done by now.
Btw the site's back guys.

View Profile The site simply went down because I didn't re-buy the domain 'on-time' according to their records. Apparently, for that site alone, they'd be sending the notifications to an email I dont even use, like my paypal email or someshizzz.
I'd only noticed when I logged on my phone that it was down.

View Profile It's not a misunderstanding. FA really did expire on 22 Jun 2012. But as you can see above stone didn't get the message of FA's expiration date until he checked his phone so...yep.
