Cyril West is a soft-spoken Texan with a penchant for pistol shooting, and he worked as a fitness trainer and boxing instructor for six years.
One day, Cyril got up at 6:00am like he usually did, took a shower, got dressed and made himself breakfast. He made himself coffee, but the pot tipped slightly to the left and Cyril found himself pouring it on his hand.
“Damn!” he exclaimed, pulling away his left hand, now soaking with blistering coffee, as he shook the coffee off his hand. He re-poured his mug, reached to get a box of cereal from the top drawer with his right hand…and suddenly shot a concentrated bullet of coffee through the cereal box, leaving a clean circular hole in the center.
Through trial and error (and several things in his apartment that caught fire), Cyril learned that he had been given a curse - the ability to copy the properties of an object with his left hand and fire projectiles made of that same material with his right, sometimes without his knowledge or control. He went to work, trying to hide his powers, but what he didn’t know was that there was more to his talent than simply shooting coffee bullets. After some unfortunate accidents and impending lawsuits, Cyril was sadly given the boot.
Without a job and unable to pay his rent, Cyril realized that this curse could be a gift. He had heard of a competition called RHG, where he could use his talents to fight other combatants and make enough money to sustain himself. It couldn’t be much different than the pistol competitions he placed first in. And who knew? The RHG was full of freaks with crazy powers — maybe there would be someone there who knew about his condition and, more importantly, could cure him.

- Left hand is cursed with the “Midas Grip”, which allows him to copy almost any material, substance or element that he touches with that hand. When he has “encoded” that material, he gains control over all objects within a ten-yard radius that are made of that same material.
- Right hand is cursed with the “Midas Pistol”, which allows him to fire small high-velocity projectiles made of substances or elements encoded by the Midas Grip from his hand and fingers.
- He is a good marksman and has placed first in several pistol-shooting competitions, and he is pretty good at hand-to-hand combat
- Keeps a kind of utility belt around his waist that has several different materials designed to be encoded and used as ammunition, such as steel, water, sand, concrete, explosives and even fire (in the form of a lighter).

- He can only encode one material at a time, and once he switches to another material he cannot encode the previous material again for three hours (which means can only encode a material once per fight)
- Has no actual weapon, and thus has a disadvantage against gladiators who have swords, axes, hammers or other melee weapons
- His arms are the source of his powers, and if they are broken, paralyzed, severed or otherwise prevented from moving, he loses his power in that hand
- He cannot encode any organic tissue (flora or fauna)

here my critique for the demo.
Good:
-i like the force you put in your demo (it's a little too much but ok).
-the movement are fluid.
bad:
-the anim ,generally, is too fast (especially the attacks in midair at the 3rd guy).
-where the f*ck come out the 2nd black guy.

anyway good demo and rhg.

Thanks for the critique! As for the 2nd black guy, I just got kind of lazy positioning the black sticks to get their asses whooped, so they just come out of nowhere. Maybe they're ninjas. I don't know anymore. I'll keep the speed thing in mind though.

You seem to know what you're doing art wise judging from your pic,and i can tell you that people who know how to draw can usually pick up the basics pretty fast.
Nice demo.

In other news, I'm seeing a whole lot of light blue/blue RHGs out there, so I'm thinking about changing his color to a light orange. However, it'd be a pain in the ass to go back through the demo and change the colors again, so I still don't know yet.

Naw, he looks perfect in that color, especially with the hat! Pure masterpiece!
