And if that wasn't enough, most of those pictures on photobucket arn't even your original works, their copies and recolors. Like, c'mon man...

there really isn't a point in making an art shop if there already is one out. If you didn't make the team then, keep trying, practice your art, and we may let you in (and you really need to stop copying and recoloring man)

I'm gonna say this one more time, so everyone can understand. This is not an Artshop, this is a place where all artists on SP can show off their work and etc.

To share artwork you can just post your own topic in this forum section. :/ So what's the actual purpose of this thread? Don't think people are trying to discourage you, they're thinking logically and telling you that this isn't that useful for people and you must realize that they're right. I would recommend taking down this thread like right now before an all out war about who's right and wrong comes into existence. But if you still want to continue this even after people have advised you not to, then by all means go ahead with what you want to do.

What I want: I want a heroic pic of my RHG in a cool looking stance.
File type: As I said before, pic.
Background: Grasslands with a dark blue/aqua colored sky. Something like #536878.
FX: No special effects lol. I don't quite get what this means.
Size: The usual, 550px by 400px.

If you're exceptionally good at art then I'm sure people would come here and order things but if not, go with the people's advise.

^this the thread you've got here is utterly useless, there is ALREADY an art shop that takes orders with the exact same format.

also "posting your art here"? that's what the ENTIRE community artwork forum is for.
I honestly don't see a bit of point to this thread, and imo some of your art is very lacking.

You guys are not bashing this young man just cause he makes an art shop.
Your guys art shop is way more popular so why yall bashing him just cause he makes a thread so he can practice his art by getting orders from people.

Well, yes, he needs practice, and that's exactly why he SHOULDNT be making art for people. Because he's not ready yet and people arn't going to appreciate his artwork when there is another shop with tons of extremely talented artists in it. It doesnt make any sense for him to make this. We're not telling people who they can get art from, but honestly, do you think anyone really wants sub-par art from someone who at most just recolors other peoples work? Getting better requires practice at what you cannot do and taking orders isn't practice, it's a challenge (no, they are not the same thing) and if he challenges himself to do overly advanced things when he hasnt practiced the basics yet then he will just become frustrated and give up or at the very least he'll realize he wasn't ready yet. Which is why I'm saying that this is useless to him at this point in his artistic career. And another thing, the MAIN reason that this is useless is because he says that this is a place where people can post their art, when there is a whole sub forum for that. It doesnt make any sense.

@Cash: If it is just for practice then he could just ask people for things to draw then draw it. If anything just continue practicing fundamentals and basic shading. That along with anatomy, basic stick construction, and how to draw in dynamic angles. If he sets up an art spot thread that is for his art alone, he is not going to get many orders and the thread will eventually be binned.
