SE should make the controls like 1 2 3 no need of ctrl otherwise we should have to download some softwares for this
so plz dlt this ctrl and make it simply 1 2 3 for selcting units its will be more easy to play

Seriously, 1,2,3 are for buying units, and i would die without them. I do double click

the numbers are for purchaseing units,so i suggested in the suggestion thread that they make latters for hotkeys for unites on the battle field for instance Q=miners A=archidons etc^^

Would be so confusing cuz I don't know if albowtross start with A, or F. And nobody ever will tak3 time to r3member th3 starting l3tters of th3 unit's name wh3b tbeir focusing on micro

its finger postioning ;) ctrl+1 etc doesnt work for me and is to awkward to do that you need too be able to hit one button at a time for you still need to scroll with the left hand and hiting one key would be easier^^

Ctrl is also on the right side lol. U can double click

ya i was thinking about that^^ maybe they could make ctrl and alt for scrolling back and forth too so it would be closer to the unit selection numbers^^and thye dont have to make latter the hotkeys for selecting units in the battle field i just thought they may be the best^^after all its just a suggestion^^

the ctrl system doesnt work for me :( i was thinking tho why not use ctrl to asighn hotkeys for instance double click all you archidons then press ctrl+and number or letter i choose F then those archer would be assighned to the letter F and if i wanted to switch them i would double click them again and press ctrl D instead assighn all my archers to D

That might work. However, I cannot do this on the Macbook... so I'm slower than my opponent most of the time. Oh well.

Even though ctrls do work for me so I don't need that feature in Order play, I think it would still be a good implementation, right now Elementals have no easy way to select all their miners because there's no hot key for it, and sometimes I want to select all my fire + all my water so I can control the scorch ability better, but right now I'm stuck with just moving them into space to select them - which doesn't work very well during a fight if I don't prepare it before.
