Here is the work in progress thread for my part in the Game Tribute Legion! I am relatively new to Stickpage and forum websites in general so please bear with me if i happen to make any mistakes. Anywho, I chose Half life 2, the sequel to the game which put a whole new stance on the first person shooter genre of game. It involves a metaphysical scientist called Gordon Freeman who, after inserting a sample of rock from unknown origin into an "Anti-mass spectrometer" (Not a real thing) Had cause a "Mass cascade" (Not a real thing either) Which caused beings from another planet to shift through space and time onto the surface of the Earth. Gordon had escaped the hellhole where he used to work (A place by the name of Black Mesa) no thanks to the military, who actually tried to destroy Black Mesa and everyone who was still alive inside or outside. With the help of a scientist he was able to shift onto the alien planet named Xen. He killed and destroyed an alien being much bigger than him name Nihilanth. It seemed to talk to him whilst trying to kill him. He could not understand it, but as soon as Nihilanth died, Gordon was transported into the tram in which he started his adventure in. In there was a man. A strange man. The man who shall soon be known as "G-man" gave Gordon a proposal. Either work for him, or fight a battle in which he could never hope to win. He took the job. Next thing he knows he is awake in a train in the future and the whole world has been taken over by these "beings" known as the 'Combine'. Oh what did you get yourself into Gordon?
UPDATES:
I have created the pistol from Half-life 2 and animated it. Mostly just a test to see if I can pull off the gunshot, but at least I have it done. Next I will probably work on the Stickpage introduction.
