Recently, on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, a piece about Mexico was aired. More importantly, a piece about how Mexico has banned negative political ads created to attack opposition. Now, is this the right thing to do?
TL;DR
Should the United States ban negative political ads? Why should/shouldn't it?

They should ban all forms of campaign advertising. The candidates should list their policies in a side-by-side comparison at the polling station and people should vote for the column they like more. The side-by-side comparisons should not even have the candidates' names on it.

Don't worry, there is plenty to go around.

That is absolutely the right thing to do. Political ad campaigns (and politics in general) in Australia have become absolute horse shit. Since there are only 2 major political groups ad campaigns have just turned into "LOOK AT ALL THIS DIRT WE DUG UP ON THOSE IDIOTS. VOTE FOR US."

Exactly! I myself am tired of that Romney guy going bla bla bla while I'm trying to watch Chuck v.s. Alfa on youtube. And this way voting is in many ways, easier.
Ey maybe you should try and become President, and make that the new way to vote. Just sayin.
