Who has beaten this asshole? I know it can take over 5 hours in most cases because he has like 50,000,000 HP.

I personally have never even unlocked the encounter. Furthest I have gotten is finishing about 95% of the mark hunts. Never finished the subterra one, so I never unlocked Yiazmat. I think when my next holidays start I will pick FFXII back up and finally get to it.

I was gearing up for the fight last time I played XII. I had most of the best gear in the game, including the Zodiac Spear; I was still leveling my characters though. It's been a long time since.

I want to go back and beat Yiazmat one day, just to say I did it haha.

I’ve played the game but haven’t finished it. Just did a google search for Yiazmat, result = DEAR GOD!

Oh I had the zodiac spear as well. Also had ultima weapon, excalibur ect. One of the weapons I wanted for the fight was the yagyu darkblade. Apparently those are very effective since Yiazmat is weak against dark. Yagyu darkblade is annoying as hell to aquire though.
