Just a quick thread. A couple of minutes ago I watched the final 10 or so minutes of King Kong, the relatively new version, I don't really like the film that much, but I find this last line said by Jack Black amazing and I love the pacing, the timing and the general feel of irony on it.
A stupid reporter said something like "The aeroplanes got 'im," and then Jack Black walks in and slowly says, "It wasn't the aeroplanes, it was beauty that killed the beast." I just love that moment, it's one of my favourite movie lines because of how it was set out, I just love every bit of how it went.
After watching this I was curious of what other people's favourite quotes were. So I made this thread. Proceed.
