50 years ago, the first anime series ended...many thought "yup, that was cool but its over" They were wrong. Many anime have been made and it is now a BOOMING success. Loved by many, made by many, and watched by many. In honor of that, I am hosting Anime Day 2012 Collab.

Anime Day 2012 is making a anime based or inspired by another anime.
Example: you can make a Dragon Ball Z fan animation or you can movie that uses your own original characters but uses super sayains and power levels etc;

diminsions must be 550x400 pxls
it must be 24fps
it must be 5 sec or more
Full body animations are HEAVILY RECOMMENDED as that way you capture the feel of the anime better.
it must have your name and what anime it is.
Keep in mind, that this is not limited to just fighting, in fact story and dialogue is recommended. So you can do action, drama, comedy, even romance.
send it in swf, V cam allowed, send your parts to me in a DM
and last but most important....HAVE FUN AND DO YOUR BEST :)

ENDS SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 19,2012

Participants will be entered below

First off, you need to introduce yourself before starting any new threads, it's a forum rule.

Cool idea, but I would definitely bump up the due date some, unless you want a whole bunch of rushed long parts or well made short parts. I mean, full body takes a while to make. :/ Also, I believe you need to specify the exact fps you want, or some people will animate a different fps than others, and the animation will look faster or slower than it's supposed to be. (unless i'm wrong? I don't know if compiling it in a program other than flash will affect the fps or not) Overall, you just need to specify a few things more, like how do you want us to send our parts? screen dimensions? Do you want both the swf and the fla? Vcam? should we put our parts in a graphic? These are just a few of the questions that come to mind when I look at this collab. It's a nice idea though. :D
