If this Is the wrong place to put this sorry, just tell me so. But I had stopped animation for a little while, I had no choice, but now I just can't seem to finish a simple animation. I get about halfway through and then I just cannot finish It. I love animating. Like I said I just cannot finish anything. So I want to ask you guys, how do you stay motivated? Anything would be appreciated.

Music. Music helps. A lot.

I second music. Also watching animations you think are good might get you pumped up for improvement.

Gin.
In theory any alcohol would probably do the job, but I like gin.

Try your hardest to finish one animation, just one. Finish it, and watch it. Remember how good it feels to be watching something that you've completed, accomplished. Remember that feeling and use it as motivation...
in combination with music and gin.

Try doing something else and coming back to animating later, maybe, that works.

I guess I can give you my inspiring animations playlist. Should keep you goin man!
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL38AA363542AF09C4&feature=mh_lolz
I even have a musical playlist that I just listen to, sit back, then paint a animation in my head. Even now that I'm listening to pandora while fixing up my room I can't wait to get back into flash and continue my learning of it. Since I'm a hardcore beginner.
Anyway throughout my process of making pivots I would show my friends my animations. I would love there approval and that just motivated me.
But always do what makes you happy man. If your forcing yourself through multiple animations for no reason. Then take a break. Have fun with it :)
