Hello everyone,
I am quite new here, and I figured out I'd post something I thought was missing (or perhaps I didnt look well).

I for one am more of a graphist than an animator. Above everything else, I love do design backgrounds images. I have fantastic works on various forums, and on various animations.

So here is the goal of this topic : show your little wonders, and if possible, share the way you create them, so everyone learn !

I will begin with the two first backgrounds of my movie project.

A wasteland

Inside the headquarters of the tribe, Drake takes a look at the land. (Drake is not on the picture yet, as this is the background.)


EDIT : woops, I forgot. The basic coloring and shapes were done in flash. Textures, lightning effects and other stuff were added in photoshop CS2.

I love it. It looks much more realistic than what the kids here do.

wow can you make that first one desktop sized? it's very simple and subdued, i like it.

The first is my favourite.
The colors just ran together to create a very mellow setting.

Not as good as the first two, although the lightning is freaking awesome, but the first one has some serious skills. Do you use a tablet? Either way, nice job! Welcome! I think you'll end up being quite popular here with those skillz.
