I never animate when listening to music. When you're not distracted by music, your animation quality improves greatly. Even the Disney animators know that.

Is this true? I've seen a livestream from terkoiz and physder. They were both had music playing during there animating...

i also animate better while listing to music, it's make me easier to concentrate, i just think it's a matter of taste

Passion Pit or Justice or some other electronic group, but otherwise no, I rarely listen to music when animating. It's a little distracting, especially if there's already music in the animation and you're trying to sync something

I try to listen to something that's basically like chill as fuck background music

I need total concentration when animating the tricky combos so I can't listen then. Although sometimes I do listen on easy stuff like walking or some run. I'd say Krawnik is pretty good.

was just reading a book by a renowned animator...his experience with another great while he was noob on the subject....

basically it is personal choice and i do listen to music when doing mechanical jobs,(adding heads, other detailing) but otherwise you can go without it

hell yea Justice.

I've tried to animate while listening to music but every time I do my mind concentrates more in the music, I can't do both at the same time
