Personally I don't think its correct to say if he's better than me or not since its more based on style IMO.

I never seen much of his work so I can't judge if hes better or not.

Around 500-600 frames and going slowly, I'm at the point where I have to decide how I should make their moves look,and what style I want to use for that look, etc.

That's cool, and it's a hard decision because you want to please everyone.

My animation is very original, as it's basically ripped off of TLOZ gameplay.

It is by far my best so far.
