Bahh, first serious animation in several months, not to mention, if completed, my longest ever.

Good luck to all of you, this should really bring out the community in several ways.

And kudos to Zulu for this, you sure are throwing out a lot of money for this site, lots of members take it for granted, too.

I actually recommend changing it to 2 minutes for several reasons.


1. Quality over quantity - It might definitely cause people to rush instead of taking their time.

2. Previous contest - with 5 weeks, the longest submission (mine) was only around 1:20 mins.

3. Exams/school - It's nearing the end of school which means people will have to spend more time studying and doing homework.

4. Most people can't animate more than 1 minute before quitting.


Well, this is just a suggestion. It's up to you. But there's my opinion.

Damn it Zulu, why would you go and make me want to animate again?

Is there a "limit" to when someone can joing? I gotta think about it.

I think we don't have to worry about any of that. Zulu and CJ are in charge of Stickpage.com so they're the ones who deal with copyrights.

And also, Zulu, I noticed you said in the rules that we aren't allowed to include any adult themes. How exactly am I to make a Grand Theft Auto animation without adult themes, though? Even the name of the game is essentially an adult theme. I think you may need to clarify on that rule a bit.

Hopefully people start seeing that we care about the community and we want you guys to get more involved with animating and making big projects. But sometimes it's best to have a little motivation...

Adult themes is nudity or explicit sexuality. You can still put girls in bikini's and stuff but no nipple. Get it...

I just spent two hours polishing up my menu and preloader lol.

I can't wait to see all the animations made for this competition released. I can't wait to see their scores on the portal and at ... (the other place where people submit their anims and get ranks) :)
