Hey Uppercut, that second screenie. What is that "beam"? I think it could use some more effect, bevel, glow, gradient shizzle and stuff

lol.. The anim you are making, is an entrie for the contest. If you want to post that anim somewhere else, you should open the anim, save as, put an B after the name or whatever, open the (name_of_ur_anim)B and then delete everything representing Stickpage.

And btw, I still wouldnt use any other filters than glow (just normal glow, not gradient glow) or blur for explosions, becuase most of the others just make them look flat.

You can download more filters btw, and mesmay said you can't post it on other sites. I mean you can but later. (I believe) That is logical since he pays for it duh. if its on other sites to then lol one pays and the others get it for free =D something likke that T__T

their all on one layer, I use the "draw objects" button and each limb becomes like a symbol or group. on the back arm I changed it to a fill instead of line in order to put the Grey line on the side so you can tell where his arm is against the body. Mhm Iguess its not about the screens. Cause Rc looked one of the epicness so far, but I know its gonna be semi-good, good or something. w/e Or epic, w/e lol.

I doubt it'll be that epic, I'm just using alot of cheap cinematic shots that take up more time, but I'll probably have snippets of the usual stick fighting goodness.

Lol, thats debatable really (that it will be close) because some of the animators are completely out of the league you and I are in, like terkoiz ,cicada ,stone ,miccool ,tman, you know the people i mean, but yeah, if you split it into animating groups (different levels of skill) then i guess there will be a close contest. lol.
Btw rc, are you going to have a bg? because from the screens ive seen theres just white in the bg. Or is kingdom hearts like that in the actual game? I wouldnt know, ive never played it so i have no idea...

Yes that background is a place in the game. At the end of the second one you go to a white abyss type place to fight the final boss. But I'm probably going to change it to a castle, because of as you said the white background looks bad and sort of out of place. Plus, heartless don't show up in that abyss place, and I want to have them fight some heartless...

and the game isn't set in kingdom hearts, you only really see it after the end of the first one.

Thier shadow like creatures that have no hearts, they try to steal peoples hearts. When they succeed the victim splits into a heartless and a nobody. The more powerful the person, the more powerful the heartless and nobody are. a nobody is like a heartless, only more organized and goal driven as opposed the the heartless who are more after peoples hearts. heres a picture of some heartless

ignore the "boything" I got it from Google search. The pure black one is the most common and the on I'll feature in my animation.
