So, for English and Welsh people, the results out for A Levels. I wanted to see what everyone got, what universities they're going to, if they're sad or not. This is just a place for you to let out your anger or sadness. My brother was turned down both universities. So how did you guys do?

Earlier than it was for me. I got my results on my birthday (10 days from now, hint hint).

It's the equivalent of America's highschool, but I think more hard? It's more like undergraduate stuff, and yes it's used to qualify you into universities.

I got my AS results (first half of A level), and am not happy with them but wasn't expecting better considering my lack of revision:

Psychology: D
Politics: C
Philosophy: B

It's qualifications for life in general. I think it's slightly above America's high school because it's non-compulsory, but it's lower than university. You do it aged about 16-18. You choose three or four subjects and study them pretty thoroughly rather than doing a broader education in everything. The results can get you a job, or they can get you into uni.

I got AS results and one A level too.
English AS - A
Physics AS - A
Maths AS - A
Maths A level - A (gutted)

Apazzy this year we've managed to do significantly worse than last year's lot.
Loads of people have been declined, I don't really know how it works but maybe your brother has a chance through clearing?

Yeah, that's what we're hoping. He got an offer for UCL if he got all three A, but he got a B in maths. Which was so incredibly surprising. We're hoping on Bristol now.
Oh yeah, good luck Zed.
