Okay so I want to make a thread specifically for the Elder Scrolls series. Use this to share tips and tricks, or show off screenshots and shit of your player character and such. Also mods are awesome.

I just started a new character and for the first time ever in an RPG I decided to play as a female for the fuck of it. I've never done it before, but there are a lot of fucking bad ass armor mods for females only that I want. Right now my player looks like this:

ChodeLover (Click to Show)

I'm using the Blood Witch armor mod, which I think looks amazing. I'm also using a custom race called Ashen, and custom hair that doesn't look like ass. I'm also using ENB to make the game a bit more ambient, that's where the blurring and SSAO comes from.

Also, is anyone interested in The Elder Scrolls Online? I might pick it up if there is a lot of interest in it when it's released. It's a great concept but the need to pull it off right, or not at all.

Dude, that mod really makes the player model look good. However, is it just me or do the textures in the background look a little fucked up?

Is that oblivion or skyrim? Can't tell. Player model looks like though. I did the same thing when I played dragon age 2, spent like 2 hours making the worlds most attractive female main character, and then didn't play the game again lol.

Thinking of giving morrowind another whirl. It doesn't seem to want to work on vista though... I have been trying to get it to work on vista for the last three years lol.

I want Skyrim, but Im afraid my parents might not let me buy it due to the mature rating. Does it have any EXTREME nudity?

That's skyrim I think.

And I might pick up elder scrolls online, do you have to buy a subscription and renew it yearly or is it like diablo 3?

It's skyrim. Also, Skyrim doesn't have any nudity (not without mods).

its rated m more for the gore and language. theres no nudity unless you modify the game files on the pc version (not even worth mentioning to your parents)

You can thank Juib for that. He killed em all. No joke. Very first character you meet in morrowind, annihilates the most annoying creature in the elder scrolls universe. Im probably the biggest TES geek on these forums...

Also me and a couple other guys are building an 'unofficial expansion' of sorts. New questline, some re-textures for new armor, since we dont have a modeler, and a follower that can eventually turn into a dragon. Going through great lengths to keep everything lore-friendly and implementing the new factions history seamlessly into the existing lore. Gunna be followed by 2 sequels that continue on the story.

Lol with Dawnguard during the main quest you can find 10 pages of Jiub's Opus, in which he describes murdering all the cliff racers and ascending to sainthood. You can also actually talk to him and he tell you how he died. You narrowly miss him in Oblivion during the battle at Kvatch.

I havent played through DG yet. I got it, just to play around with the crossbows and check out the new armor to see if it was worth using as a parent for the mod.

I've also been trying to play Daggerfall. But getting it going in DosBox everytime is a pain in the ass and i can't for the life of me get it to keep saves. Thats a shame because its actually pretty fun.

EDIT: Could use advice on chainmail hood retexture, still work in progress. Keep the seam in front, or lose it? Normal maps dont show up in nif-scope so the lighting detail isnt there, but you get the general idea.

I find it hard to see on the black background, but to me it's looking pretty good.

I'm playing around with some awesome mods that put Oblivion in the Skyrim engine:

I didnt really like the Oblivion world, felt too small. Took like 10 minutes to walk from city to city.

Side note, i need to get me Cloaks of Skyrim. I'd suggest you get the Weapons of the 3rd era mod. Adds alot of the swords, katanas, tantos, etc from Morrowind.
