I suggest using the line tool for backgrounds and to add more anticipation to attacks. And for your particle and effects, I suggest doing them in white and putting them in a movie clip so you can add a glow. It looks much better like that.

But besides that, I love your style. It's very unique. 2Bla

But the main letdown of your animation was the particles, I recommend viewing some tutorials of effects.

But yes your interesting style of animation was the thing that got you accepted!

and btw didn't you make that flip book animation using only paper and pen, they have the same triangle heads there.

Yeah the paper and pen is my stuff too lol

And I'll work on the particles as well :P (Not my forte)
