[ 8-23-12 ] For the export-to-gif problem, if you can you can try to export a pivot, AE, or TISFAT file into FLV or SWF. If you can't do those, try MP4. If MP4 can't play in Flash 8, then I have no choice but to accept GIF.

Q : Does the dot have to stay stationary?
A : No it doesn't! You can move it, interact, make it summon stuff, or chase/fight it. Be creative!

Q : Can we make the graphic act like a V-Cam?
A : Yes you may! Reason why I didn't add a V-Cam is because of compiling issues such as incorrect positioning and fidgets.

Q : Can we use sprites or others?
A : Of course! It can be street fighter, Maplestory, Mario, and even Kirby and Naruto!

Q : I'll probably join, considering u can use any type of animation. Not many collabs do that. ;D
But what's v-camming and how do i compress it all into a graphic symbol?
A : V-Cam is basically a AS2 scripted camera that acts like those in many animations. [ Close ups, camera pans, etc. ] And to compress your part into a graphic symbol, copy your whole animation except for your sounds, got to Insert > New Symbol. Name it like this : yourname_part#. Make sure to also set the symbol into graphic. Once inside the graphic, paste your whole animation onto the first frame. Once done, leave the symbol and position your symbol onto the same place as your original animation. Then, send me your part in this format in a PM.

Q : When i end my piece do I have to get rid of my background? Or leave it then the next scene starts blank...? Won't that look weird? And does my part have to start blank back ground then i add it in the next frame? Still not clear on that part o the backgrounds.
A : When I mean immediate background, I mean don't just make a BG appear all at once out of nowhere. I want you to transition it like from Alpha 0 to Alpha 100. At the end, yes you have to get rid of your background for the next person. Also transition the end for just suddenly disappearing BG will look very weird.

Q : I just checked the template and i don't understand why there are so many layers.
A : Remember, this is a unified collaboration. There are many animators that use a lot of layers for a short or long part.

Q : Also what about violence, nudity, adult themes?
A : This is a perfect example of being a more careful person. PLEASE, READ THROUGH THE THREAD CAREFULLY BEFORE EVEN POSTING OR ASKING THESE QUESTIONS. [ No, this is a unified collaboration and is aimed to be rated G or PG. ]

Q : Can I make multiple parts?
A : As much as you want! ^^

Q : What if our parts are over a minute long?
A : I don't mind! But, it will take up majority of a song so keep in mind about song limits.

Q : Can we have more than 2 people in a part?
A : If you mean in a joint, yes you may! Remember, this is very similar to Doors, so be open minded!

Q : How will you compile the parts?
A : I'm not gonna be the only one compiling. I will be compiling at a middle stage, Tyler will do post compiling for any minor glitches, then I will finalize everything into one and WHAALA!

Q : Can we add angles?
A : Oh yes, please! It's not recommended or required, but optional. But remember : NO V-CAM.
