I have posted my RHG character yesterday and it exclaimed that I will need moderator approval and it's still not visible. I know I should wait, but I'm not too sure. I'm new here, so don't snap at me.

I'm not sure myself, since this rule is pretty new and wasn't around when I posted my RHG.
Guess you just have to wait until one comes online (purple usernames, you can see hem in the "who's online" list at the bottom of the index page.)
I think this is simply to prevent spam and advertisement pages and such.
