I can't seem to register on stick empires. i fill out all of the necessary info, click register... and nothing happens. I know it's not my internet, and even after refreshing and redoing, checking my email(just in case), and just flat out restarting my computer. is there a reason for this or what?

Yeah I've experienced this before as well. As Skele said, a different email should work.

Does anyone experience the problem where you *press G* -the crawler starts going to garrison- *press space* -the garrisoned crawler gets reselected-

This has cost me many crawlers

Its when theres a bit of lag and you reselect it before it processes the command of garrisoning (as clicking spacebar isn't affected by lag). Its happened loads to me, nothing you can do about it.

Code it up for custom hotkeys, jli has done it, why can't you.

As for the space thing, it happens with every unit in lag, see @zomars post.

Custom hotkeys are easy to make with the program autohotkey but hell no am I helping you make them because that could quickly turn into cheating.

Just remap your keyboard. Also skele, using external modifications isn't against ToS. It's just modifying the game itself and using a custom client that's restricted.
