You should make it more accessible. No one will check the "Main" section when they join, they all think they're too important; they'll ask their own questions in main without even glancing at it. Most people don't read an FAQ because they're so sure their question will not be answered. I suggest making it a welcome PM to every new member, if it's possible to automate the process.
