I just feel that having a good story is a part of a good rhg, that's all. And with ease the process of animating I wanted to say it eases the process of doing a proper storyboard, then the animation itself, and so on. Decisions that are made in the battle make more sense, and your character others animate will made as your character. I for one would hate imagining my character old, somewhat weak and frail, yet experienced, being animated doing flashy flips and other unnecessary things. A good story gives a good face of an RHG.
Well, just my opinion. Good luck in future battles. =o
Would you say FLLFFL or Yo Yo are not "good" RHGs?
I'm pretty sure story is actually irrelevant. Phil's FLLFFL is supposed to be old and yet he's crazy fast and does flips and shit. Hyun's Yo Yo has a half-assed, joke of a story but it doesn't at all take away from his funny and entertaining battles. My point is, as an animation community, I think in order to properly judge an RHG one should focus less on the story (especially if it isn't the intended focal point) and more on the dedication of the animator and the quality of the animation/art. With the exception of wRHG if that still exists.
