Welp, the RHG character I have in mind uses a Darkness element. I'm sure people have seen darkness effects before, but I have not. If anyone has a good idea on how to do them, would you be willing to load a tutorial? Preferably one that doesn't need to be downloaded. Please and Thank you.

Care to elaborate what you mean by darkness? Shadows, fog, tendrils? Be more specific.

Easy. Make a rectangle on the highest layer of your animation. Make it big enough to cover the whole screen. Make it black. Then the rest of your animation is just sound effects.
