You wake from the alarm. The lights in the room are flashing red and the alarm is screaming. You sit up in your bunk. You look around. Some of the other soldiers are now sitting up or have already started to get up. You jump down from your top bunk, right above your friend, Al. Al is still asleep. You shake him and he wakes. He realizes what is happening as soon as he wakes. He gets up out of his bed. Al looks like he is still half asleep. You know why when you see the clock and it reads: 4:23.
You both run to your "chest". You put your pants on, and then your t-shirt. Next you put your uniform on. You throw your socks and boots on to finish your uniform. Al finishes soon after you. You both run to the gun rack. Rifles, shotguns and machine guns are on the gun rack. Below the gun rack are the handguns. You grab your trusty M1911 Colt .45. Now you look back at the primary weapons. There are a lot of rifles, a few shotguns, and not many machine guns. You recognize all of the guns. Now you need to choose quick which gun to grab.
(1)Grab the M4 Assault Rifle
(2)Grab the M14 Rifle
(3)Grab the Remington 700

You grab the M4. It is a great, durable, beautiful gun. You hold the gun with the stock against your shoulder. It isn’t aimed up though it is aimed down, mainly so you will be able to run easier now. You start towards the door.
Just then the door explodes and a masked man wielding an AK-47 stands on the other side of the door. You bring your gun up and send three rounds into his chest. He falls back on the ground. A group of soldiers in your squad approach his body. Then you see a frag grenade roll out of his left hand, with the pin removed.
You yell for the soldiers to back away from the body, but it is too late. The grenade explodes and the soldiers are sent flying back. Most of them were at least fifty feet away from the explosion, so they were not seriously harmed, but they were still injured. One of them was only ten feet away when the grenade exploded, and he was sent flying back. He wasn’t killed, but he was seriously injured. His right arm was almost completely destroyed. He lied on the ground, unconscious from the explosion. Some of the soldiers run to help this wounded soldier. You take one last look at him and see who he is this time. He is Greg Hex. Greg was just a Private First Class, just transferred to this squad yesterday.
You and Al run to the spot where the door was. You both look out to see fires, soldiers and terrorists run around, shooting and killing each other. A terrorist spots you and Al. Al shoots a few rounds at the terrorist, killing him. A grenade flies at you both. You need to think of what to do fast.
(1)You jump to the left, away from the explosion
(2)You jump on the grenade, to make the explosion smaller and to protect Al
(3)You throw Al to the left and shield him from the explosion
(4)You throw Al to the right to use him as a human shield so you won't die
