Well, people disliked the clan picture I did before, so I remade it. I made better facial expressions, and less bevel, just as you guys said.

You're effects... I'm sorry, but they aren't awesome, the dark fire doesn't look like fire, it should have a longer tail going up and should have more blur with less spikiness.

My suggestion would be to study what fire is shaped like. Also, follow what you did with that other clan picture with Sharp being in front and larger than the others because of the perspective, just get the facial expressions like this, and you'll be good.

Also, add shading, it doesn't matter how you shade as long as it is away from a lightsource, (i.e. If the shadings are on the right side of the Sticks, then that indicates the lightsource is on the left side)
