Ryan “Battlefield” Steel

Abilities

Ryan has the ability to form weapons and some other things out of the “backpack” on his back. The weapons can be swords, explosives, handguns, sniper rifles, shotguns, assault rifles, sub-machine guns and some larger guns. Not only can his backpack form weapons though, it also can form things that “enhance” him. These “enhancements” are: Specialized boots, futuristic headgear, and “Strength Gainers”. The specialized boots allow him to run at high speeds (but nothing over 20 MPH), they have jets at the bottom that allow him to hover the ground (they can only go 10 feet up in the air and the only can reach speeds of 20 MPH, the same as the running. But, the jets need to recharge after they are used for too long), and the boots allow his kicks to be stronger. His headgear gives him a Heads-up-display which allows him to use thermal vision, look closer at a target from far away and let him identify any gun or person in the identification database. And finally, the “Strength Gainers” are kind of like steroids, but they allow the person to be exceedingly strong for only a limited amount of time. These are taken as pills, so if someone stops him from swallowing it, he cannot gain the strength. Ryan is the only person who is capable of using these three "enhancements" and anyone else who takes them will not be enhanced by it. Ryan is military trained, so he is quite good at hand-to-hand combat, but that is not his greatest strong-point.

Weaknesses

Ryan can only have three swords, four handguns, one sniper rifle, two shotguns, two assault rifles, three sub-machine guns or one large gun at a time. If he decides to form another gun, he must first place the gun back in the “backpack” to use as the metal for the new firearm. It takes up to half a minute to form a small-average size gun and up to two minutes for a larger one, and that leaves him vulnerable to some attacks. His backpack can get broken if it is hit hard enough or destroyed in some way, so that is a disadvantage for him. His boots do have to recharge after they are used to gain speed or fly for too long, so that leaves him slower and unable to fly. His headgear is 100% electronic so an EMP or some kind of thing to shut it down will cause it to do so. His Strength Gainers can easily be taken by the enemy or broken, and that would cause him to not have them anymore. He can use up to three in each fight, but that is all. Once one wears off, he suffers some dizziness and fatigue. The Strength Gainers do make him stronger, but he suffers because of them.

Appearance

Ryan is 22 years old. He has some battle scars on his face and many on his arms and chest. Ryan is muscular, but his muscles are not very large, except for his calf muscles. He has six-pack abs and his calf muscles are very large because he loves to run and everytime he uses his specialized boots to run, it makes his calf muscles larger. Ryan has dark brown shaggy hair, his hair is longer than it is supposed to be in the Marines, but he doesn't care. His eyes are light blue and he has light colored eye brows. He is tan, and he has many freckles on his body and on his face. Ryan is not very serious out of the battlefield, but when he is fighting enemies, he is 100% serious. Ryan is a prankster and he loves to joke around and hang out with his friends. His backpack large and the color is blue digital camo. All the guns that he forms are the same color as they were originally made by whomever designed the gun in the first place.

About/Story

Ryan was born in a small, dangerous town in Texas. The town was right at the border of Mexico and the United States, and there was always danger from the illegals crossing the border. They would sometimes come armed and ready to kill citizens of his town to steal their green cards and take their identity. Ryan couldn’t stand this! He thought that if they were to come to his town illegally, then they should at least follow the law. And as he grew, so did his anger. He joined the border patrol to stop what was happening. In just a year, he had hundreds of illegals deported off to Mexico. But he then wanted to help his country more. He joined the United States Marine Corps to help protect his country. And after a while of being a great soldier in the USMC, they gave him a proposition. They were going to enlist him in a special project to work with a new device that could make him weapons and enhance his body. He accepted and was enlisted in a new project, called Battlefield. Battlefield was a backpack allowing the user of it to form weapons and other things to help the user. All the soldiers called him "Battlefield" because of the project and the name just stuck. He is almost always fighting for the USMC and protecting his country with his service, but when he isn't he goes to an arena where fighters with unique abilities or have something that makes them unique fight. He fights with his backpack always. And the arena he goes to, is called wRHG.

The longest demo you’ll probably ever see for wRHG (Click to Show)

My character could take him on ;)
The robot himself isn't OP, but his soldiers are. It's physically impossible to shoot anything short or mortars/tank guns/artillary for three miles. But small caliber machine guns? Lool

Considering that they're made in a robot and mass produced, the soldiers should be dumb and only slightly competent, I say.

Well, they aren't really "made" in the robot, they are constructed. The robots themselves were made by the military and the government, meaning that they necessarily wouldn't be "dumb". This project was worked on for years by the military and government, so they had a long time to make the robots not dumb. And BTW, I fixed the gun range thing, cuz I thought about it and you're right about that. But, these are robots that are made to be able to "study" a distance and a specific gun and tell how high they have to aim above the target to actually neutralize or eliminate it. So, yeah...

You know something is OP when something it mass produces is powerful enough to kill your RHG 1 on 1. I think you should tone this down.
Its a cool concept, but making something on the fly can never have the upside of it being generally more powerful than something that takes time. I recommend making them average soldiers at least, with maybe one really good one who the RHG can be from the view of, aside from Battlefield itself.

Yeah, and I thought it through and any time I would have to write about this would be boring, so I am changing him almost 100%, other than the name. And I think you guys will like the new thing more.
EDIT: I got the new one up! Tell me what you think!
