NOTE TO ****TARDS: Roleplay does NOT mean you have to pretend you're a little elf or something. Forum roleplay means that you make a character and you guide his life, not that you make a character and make his life your own.

No for me. It's a personal thing though. I hate all forum games and dread the thought of role play. There's just something that keeps me from enjoying it.

And yes, I think gmod roleplay is stupid as well.

Well, I'm assuming it is a lot more immersive that's all. They have basically an entire mod dedicated to it.

Text seems limited compared to what you can do with voice acting and events.

Well, I'm not a big fan of roleplaying, just doesn't interest me really. I mean I guess I can understand why people enjoy it, kinda like playing Sims I suppose, but it's not for me.

I'd explain why but the various reasons why I find it uninteresting seems kind of irrelevant to your overall goal of having people participate.

I've tried it. I got bored of it quick and left the forum within 4 days.

I would, but I know that at some point in time I wouldn't log in for a few days, and my part of the story would be ****ed.
So if I did join, I'd just have my character killed off early on.

I have been roleplaying for 1 maybe 2 years now =P on different sites, I tried making one, but didn't in the end. If you mean like, roleplay as a certain character, and like act like him. and write the way he would write (Dbz for example) Then yes I did that. =3

Because I always get ignored. And because it associates me with the times when I was like 6 years old and played with toys, making a storyline and borrowing them my voice. It makes me feel kinda silly.

But I'm glad you guys enjoy it.
