Sacred
Abilities:
Molecular Manipulation. A mysterious force runs through his body, allowing him to affect what's around him down to the quantum level. This includes being able to heal himself to a reasonable degree.
Weaknesses:
Sacred's physical body has no extra power to it. If he punches you, the force is not stronger than the average punch. If his arm gets cut off, it will not grow back. If you stab him in the heart, he will die. His ability to survive is based on his own agility and intelligence. As for his powers, Sacred does not fully understand their capabilities. While in certain instances he's capable of moving water, breaking rock, and bending steel, he does not have the ability (yet) to actually change the elements. Such as, he cannot simply change sand to glass. This transformation of elements is much too complex for the human mind to try and will, and as such Sacred's ability only goes so far as to be able to move and break things. This is also true when it comes to other living creatures. While Sacred outputs the power from his body, the fact that it travels through one complex living organism already is an extremely difficult feat. But the ability to affect another living body would limit his powers too much (aka no he cannot affect the physical makeup of another person.)
Appearance and Personality:
He's a slim built and broad shouldered man at the height of 5'9. The stress can be seen surrounding his eyes. His colored veins fade through from under his skin, and this becomes more visible whenever he focuses his internal energy on a specific piece of his body. Caucasian. Short brown hair with thin strips hanging over his forehead and the slightest bit of a 5 o'clock shadow. Stoic and clearly hides his emotions from others. Speaks only when necessary. Hates killing. Death clearly affects him.
Story:
Before there was Sacred, there was a young scientist. He lived in a small town named Everglade, where ongoing investigations occurred surrounding odd shape transitioning of the mountains nearby due to magnetic and kinetic forces. Sacred was apart of a science team that took an excavation deeper into the mountains than had ever been excavated before. Upon discovering an enormous space underground which seemed to be the source of concern, a seismic collapse ensued, causing the entire town of Everglade to lift and throw the mountains to their sides. From the force of the largest rockslide to ever be recorded in history, Everglade caved in on itself. Anyone within a 100 mile radius felt some sort of impact. Within only a few minutes, Everglade ceased to exist.
After the catastrophe, Sacred awoke to find himself as the lone survivor, trapped underneath the rubble. Unknowing as to what had happened to the outside world, he decided to independently form a lab and study the readings with what remained from the excavation until help would come. From the research he discovered a new sort of mysterious energy that fabricated and moved through the molecules on the quantum level. He concluded this was directly related to the seismic activity him and his team were investigating. After weeks with no sign of help and diminishing resources, Sacred began to get desperate. With the limited excavation tools he had, he used a risky method to contain the energy into a fixed point and use the power of his lab to control the energy and create a way out of the collapse. However, by trying to move the energy within an enclosed area, the experiment backfired and instead the energy pocketed into the only vacant spot, Sacred. The amount that rushed into him would arguably kill a man, if not destroy him. However, due to the unknown attributes that this force carries, Sacred instead came to with a larger sense of strength than ever before. Unexplainably, this mysterious force had latched itself into his body, running through his veins. With this new power within him, Sacred harnessed the energy to bend to his whim, assisting his escape to what should have been a certain death. Upon finally reaching daylight, Sacred made the terrible discovery that his home had been wiped from the face of the Earth.
From that point forward Sacred found himself a tainted energy source and now lives amongst only himself, detached from his emotions. By losing everything he held sacred to him, he stripped himself of his original name and gave himself a new one as a constant reminder to never forget Everglade and its victims.
