I animate because I love it.
But I get less time for animating because I'm a B.Tech student.
So any more suggestions?

The best tablets for animation are made by Wacom, most noticeably the Intuos and the Cintiq. However if you're just starting out I would suggest you buy a Bamboo. Besides, the Intuos costs $400 an the Cintiq costs $2000.

Tablets are very useful and a good choice if you plan on professionally animating. I don't know how a half-ass'd post is supposed to help though.

I'd go with some bamboo stuff, they are very beginner friendly and easy to use, just know what you want and what your getting before you commit to buying. If your looking for something like a tablet with a screen or pc tablet you might have to invest a bit more. I have a Wacom Bamboo fun pen and touch and I love it.

Since you ask for it, i'm gonna give you some info and suggestions for you'r best option. So to begin with, you should ask yourself how much you're willing to pay for you're hobby to make the most out of it, if you're really tight on money then i'd would suggest that you hold back and just get a cheaper tablet for now, because ya know tablets are quite expensive too to be honest, especially if you're just a student who doesn't have a job yet, so yea it kind of depend on you're budget of what you can get whether it's the best or the least. But, like i said, you should cut back if you're really tight on cash because there's really no need to get the best if you're not the best of yourself already, and honestly, better tablet is just there to give you more options and make it easier but hey, that doesn't mean that you can't do it like the best either, it's all up to you and your knowledge whether you'll be able to do the same or not, not the tablet, because basically, most of the tablets today will likely going to give you a fair amount of good pressure sensitivity anyway so there's no need for the best like the Intuos or the Cintiq at all if you're not that rich.
But however, you have it all and is willing to pay for the best, then ya know the Intuous is always the best way to go. Why? because the Intuos has more pressure sensitivity and has more controls-(button controls), btw only the Intous 4 and 5 though.
but yeah if you have the money then the the Intous is the best choice, but i also can't guarantee that you will be the best just cuz you have a good tablet, that depends on you and the intelligence of yours when it comes to animating, not tablet as much
:), so yeah you should think carefully before you make you're decision, i hope this help you a little bit friend, if not a whole lot at least you get an idea of what you should go for and what not to do it, good luck ;)

Damn I made a tablet guide thread on FA. What's your price range? If you don't have a couple hundred dollars to shell out then I suggest one of Wacom's Bamboo tablets too. I think most people here have one of those. I've seen prices from about $80 to $200. It's well worth the money, other brands that have cheaper ones tend to be god awful.

Oh yeah I remember that
You should bring it over here sometime

If your looking for the eaisest and most efficent way, I Suggest something like

http://www.wacom.com/en/products/cintiq.aspx

^But this is really pricy and you'll need so save some cash.

Though if your more into simple and hardworking, office shit... Something like this

http://www.wacom.com/en/products/bamboo/bambootablets/bamboosplash.aspx

^This is the tablet I currently have

Take a look around Wacoms website, these dudes are like Gods when it comes to graphic design based tablets.

what if the price range is $100-$200?
Is bamboo the best in this price range?
If yes, will it have any problems in the future?
