You can always download the swf. Open up flash, file > import to stage. Youll have the entire animation in flash fbf.

and i figured out a way to download swf files =D

i've just downloaded Oxob's bse round 5 entry...it was awesome =D

you just need to follow these simple steps:

Open IDM -> click on "Options" -> choose "File types" tab -> type "SWF" to the space that shows other file types -> open your favourite anims wait for the IDM download bar show up -> download them -> Enjoy!!

*notice*
+ you should erase the "SWF" which you wrote in the IDM after you done with the download 'cause there's a lot of swf files on a page
+ you should also notice the name of the download file or you might download icons or some other junk swf files

Not everyone has internet download manager, and I'd reccomend being careful where you download it from, there's a few fake versions out there. oh, and it costs money after trial ends, so it would be better to recoomend something like the numerous swf grabber plugins for firefox, or viewing the page's source in chrome and find the swf's embeded location, then right click saving it. firefox also has a page info feature that lists images, videos, and swf files.

There's an easier way to get any swf on any page. Depending on browser your viewing open the source. So for instance im on firefox right now.

> Right Click > View Page Source (That will open the webpage source code.)
> Ctrl F (for find) > search .swf and keep hitting next until you find the one you want, (you can usually tell by the code or by the estimate of the dimensions).
> Copy the URL you want
> Open a new tab in your browser, paste in the url in which should be .swf, hit enter. Let it load. It will be huge filling up your browser.
> File > save as. And choose your destination. Then save it.

So on this page we have...
http://www.fileize.com/files/abf3234e/744/a.swf

Which is no doubt MemoryWjng's sig.

;)

Works for everthing because you are simply getting the source code which looks for the link. Newgrounds can be a bit trickier since they have started inbedding mp4 files in flash players. However you just hunt it out.

So this file is inbedded into a flash video player.
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/603869

Searching .swf finds the player.
http:\/\/flash.ngfiles.com\/video_player\/videoplayer.swf

Which is useless.
Search .mp4 though and find it.
http://http%3a%2f%2fuploads.ungrounded.net%2falternate%2f611000%2f611122_alternate_279.mp4/

So then replace %2f with a / and %3a with a : and it reads like this.
http://uploads.ungrounded.net/alternate/611000%2f611122_alternate_279.mp4
Then watch in highquality and full screen.
