Yes, but over the years people have made it like that. Last time I went to a Halloween store for my cousin(8 years old) all I saw at first glance was Freddie Krueger stuff and SAW stuff and bloody axes and fake blood and shit like that. Honestly I agree with you, but what are you going to do?

Oh and by the way, nobody answered my question.

Halloween is actually a holiday made mainly just to scare away evil spirits via costumes
So if SK deems bloody stuff scary then so be it

Though I do find it disturbing what's the name of the anime?
