Quite simple, if you had super powers would you be good or evil?

Please defend you position on this.

I would be evil. I just couldn't except the responsibility of having to protect others over and over again. I would abuse the shit out of my powers, and hope that someone would rise to the challenge of defeating me.

Depends on what you consider "good" and "evil". It also depends on what you mean by "super powers".

I think the effect that super powers would have on my own personal moral compass depends on the superpower. For instance, if my superpower is being able to materialize any kind of food instantly, I'd almost exclusively use it for good, mainly because it would be difficult to use it for evil.

On the flip side if my super power was invisibility the temptation would be greater to use it for evil just because there's more bad shit you can do with invisibility (spy on people, check out naked girls in public showers or bedrooms, steal shit).

Also to answer the question you have to establish whether or not the expectations for someone with superpowers are different than the expectations for people without superpowers. If you assume that having superpowers means you have a responsibility to protect or save those weaker than you then the answer the the question is more difficult.

Anyways overall I don't think most superpowers would have any real effect on my moral decisions or anything of the sort. I'd just be the same person except with superpowers.

I would rather use powers for good, abusing my powers and using it just to do evil shit isn't really my thing, though like highly, it would mainly depend on what my power is, but even if it was something that I could use for pure evil, it would be hard for me to use it for well...pure evil

I wouldnt be doing much stuff, maybe playing with it. However if something really goes shitty i might go there and do something about it, but its not that i will be there to protect anyone or something.

I would be good, but I won't go out and look for people to save. I'd just do whatever the fuck I want (granted "whatever the fuck I wanted" was not going to harm anybody) and help when I come across some trouble. I mean, I won't save all the girls being raped, but I would try and help the people affected by hurricane Sandy as much as I can.

Evil, on a simple whimsy. By nature, I'm a really nice person, but I enjoy playing the bad guy. To go in to it further though, I wouldn't kill. But whatever you can think of that doesn't involve killing, I would more than likely do.

I'm no goody two shoes but I fucking hate it when people pick on others...
I'd most likely abuse my powers in a more immature way rather than a "I'm going to take over the world!" way... But of course I'd make the occasional thief or killer my bitch...

I've suffered a lot of bullying and other things throughout my life, so the first thing on my mind would be revenge on people who've made my life miserable in any way.
That part solely depends on if you consider revenge evil or not.
After that, I'd (ab)use these powers (whatever they are) to get my own way and things I want easier.
But evil does sound fun.
