so i've been animating for about 4 weeks now, and whenever i animate any attacks, the feet don't seem to look proper, they either wobble about wayyy too much, or stay too still, and even while trying to find an in-between, the feet always move slightly and look weird, i just wanted some help on how i would fix this problem,
http://www.fileize.com/view/4189f88d-913/ (example of wobbly feet, ignore the rest of it and focus on feet :P)
P.S i use Line Tool and sometimes Magnet (if I'm lazy) and i use Flash CS5 and use the guides as a starter thing to make sure my body sizes stay consistent.
p.p.s i tried to use brush on several occasions, but i currently use a mouse and can't draw at all, and I've tried so many different ways with brush and it wouldn't work with me, so i'm sticking to line tool
Need a little footwork help

yer the example i gave is kinda..... fast... very fast... but the example was for the feet, as i dont have enough time atm to make a fast example (I don't save animations i dont like :P) and i've stoped the feet from sliding this much, but they still move a lot, i was just wondering if there are any techniques or ways to stop this.

...it isn't that wobbly though, just very sliddy...
Well you might want to add feet to your stickfigure...not saying you'll need it, but it'll help you anchor the legs down to the floor better. Also when animating punches and stuff, you could always do a shuffle sort of movement. Something to help remove the wobblyness but allow freedom is that remember one foot must always be on the ground. This can be a pivot point and so on. Also a good way to see how the legs would work while you throw a punch is to actually THROW a punch in real life. See how your body moves IRL and then translate that into in animation. It doesn't have to be exact, but it gives you something to work with, experiment and then make it your own.

what you should be using is the onion tool if your not already doing that just place the feet in the same place so they dont move so much but other then that i cant think of any thing hope it helps :/

Yer i do use onion skin, and thanks for the help, it's just that, if it's not exact, it moves, and if each frame isnt exact, it means each frame is moving slightly which makes it look weird, and unless i copy-paste the legs, or spend 5 mins on 1 leg, i cant get them to stay put, although, after adding feet i see a drastic improvement on the shaky-ness but its still there if you look close enough =/
thanks anyways :)
thanks anyways :)

Press < and > repeatedly and watch closely to see if the feet are off by a pixel or two. If you see the feet moving then correct it.

heh, i knew that would be an option, but it's a bit time consuming which was why i was hoping for a different option, But thanks :), i'll take in what i've heard so far (Have so far and it's going better then it was)
