Aquarius
Abilities:
Aquarius has the ability to manipulate water in all three forms: Ice, water, and steam. She can quickly heat up water into steam, along with rapidly transform water into ice. Along with that, shes very skilled in hand to hand combat.
Weaknesses:
She can't simply whip water out of her butt of course, so she needs a source of water very close by that she can use (Which is why she constantly carries around a water bottle around her waist). Shes not the most graceful person, and a bit impulsive. So she ends up making mistakes very easily. Shes mostly mortal, so she will bleed and get hurt and die.
Description:
She's young, about in her early 20s. She's lean and built. Blonde with three highlight in shades of blue that, for some reason never wash away. Shes quiet and prefers to talk only if necessary. When she does talk, she sounds educated, but also comes off a bit cocky. In battle she prefers not to kill because of her mother, but if needed be she will. She can be a bit flirtatious. Shes usually seen wearing a simple T-Shirt and a pair of skinny jeans.
About/Story:
Aquarius was the daughter of a god and a mortal. The father was king of the seas, controlling the vast expanses of the oceans and the great drifts of glaciers on the farthest corners of the earth. Of course like all mythological tales, a mortal falls in love with a god, and they fuck, and they have a baby. Aqueous never knew however that she was a god's daughter, she didn't even know her father was. Her mother raised her as a normal child. She had friends, boyfriends, and just the typical life of a teenage girl. Then her mother was struck down in the middle of her life by a careless man with a gun. She was devastated. Her life was thrown into chaos. She had no one to turn to, no family or friends left to ask for help. She became a shell of her former self. Then after seeing what she had become, she chose to kill herself by jumping in the current of the river. Standing on the edge of the bridge, she let go of herself, and fell lifelessly into the current. But, what happened next was truly a miracle. Her eyes flicked open, to see that she was not dead. She was above the river, floating in a ball of water! What shocked her more was she was able to control it. She lowered herself slowly onto the ground next to the bridge. She changed that day, thinking that she had this strange power for a reason (but shes only the byproduct of a god and a mortal having sex). She mastered her skills, building on her talent to a point where she was lethal. She vowed to never hurt herself, find her father, and live to avenge the death of her mother.
Demo:
The clock on her phone flashed 11:17 PM. No way in hell a bus would be coming at this time, But like her mother, she was stubborn and wasn't ready to just walk home yet. She sat on the bench lazily and tilted her head back. Exhaling, she let a long wisp of her breath escape from her lips. She loved this kind of weather. It always fascinated her that you could actually see your breath. But what excited her more was that she could move it around. Lifting her hands, she waved them daintily around. The wisp danced back and forth, moving like a hawk. It dipped and swayed around. It made her laugh, It was always fun to mess with people when she did it. She couldn't count the amount of time people cried "GHOST!" when their breath moved in such a bizarre fashion. She grew bored, said her goodbyes ,and released the wisp. It dissipated into the air. Relaxing, she closed her eyes and listened to the groups pass her by. For a period, it grew eerily quiet. It bothered her. It wasn't until a group of 3 drunkards emerged from the alley she relaxed. But the anxiety returned when they came a bit too close for comfort. The one approached, reeking of vodka and pot.
"Hey pretty lady, whatcha' dooin all out by yer self. Why not c'mere and I'll show you a good ol' time..."
Her common sense told her the men were obviously not the most 'agreeable' fellows, Prepared for a confrontation, she took out her water bottle on her hip and took a swig of it, careful not to swallow just yet. She closed the cap tightly on her bottle and set it down. The two others babbled drunkly and followed in the cat calling.
"C'mon girly...I-I've got under my shirt o' six pack o' abs and in my 'ere pants a foot long. I ain't even gonna charge y-you 5 bucks to eat it"
The water in the bottle slowly rose in temperature, becoming a time bomb. She waited, hoping that maybe one of them would have enough sense to just say leave her alone. She wasn't that lucky. The one made the attempt to grab at her. He stumbled over and grabbed her shoulder and jerked her up. Now facing him, She spit in his face what water she had reserved. Whipping her hand back as quick as lightning, she froze it into a mist of razor sharp ice shards. The foolish drunkard howled in pain, collapsing to the floor. His face dribbling with blood. Aquarius sprung up from the bench and poised herself in a defensive stance. The pot and Vodka man slurred an incoherent swear at her. He blindly thew a punch in her direction. She moved her hand in a upward line, causing the water bottle bomb to explode into a boiling mess. It rained down on her assailants, giving her just enough time to return the vodka man's punch with a sweep to his legs. Swinging her arms back, she called the water back to her. It swirled violently around her, like a swarm of insects. The second man ran at her, screaming like a mad man with a pocket knife. Relaxing her arms, she let the water fall to the ground, and pulled her hands into a tight fist. The water froze rapidly into a slick sheet. The second drunk slipped like any normal man would on a sheet of ice, right on his butt. Releasing her fists, the ice went from solid to liquid and back to swirling around her. Not satisfied that she didn't get stabbed, the second drunkard got back up and lunged at her again.
"Stupid boy..."
She whipped her hand out in front of her and clutched her fist at the same time, causing a thin sheet of ice to fly into the arm of the drunkard. He dropped the knife, too preoccupied with the now bleeding gash. With some more moving of the hands she lifted the man up from the ground to his feet. She ran towards him, commanding the water to move down to wherever she kicked or threw a punch to freeze. She danced gracefully, delivering a punch right to the jaw and a kick to the gut. The man fell like a rock, only to groan in pain before passing out. Making sure she could let her guard down, she tapped the three with her foot. No response. Sighing, she looked at her phone again.
"11:28 PM...Guess there won't be a bus."
She picked up what remained of her water bottle and walked westward home.
