Yeah, as the title says.. is it really complicated to know all of the rules of flash? i mean do i need to memorize them all in animating? im having troubles with it? my mind is gonna go berserk when i saw Zed's tutorial on Flash.. never thought that it would be that hard..

but this is my question: do i really need to memorize all of the things in Zed tut or only the important ones like:

Blood particles and others of them.. Motion tweening.. V-cam, sound effects.. Nifty effects.. preloaders.. easing.. and shadows (or kinda like those mirror like floors)

pls help me.. my mind is going crazy on thinking about this things.. if you know what are the ONLY IMPORTANT Flash making like things like what i said above..
pls leave a comment so imma focus on them and i should stop on making myself confused on what are the really important ones in Flash..

thank you..

ok, what i normally use to make a basic animation is the selection tool, the brush tool, F5,6 and 7 and thats it. if you want to make effects turn it into a movie cip and go to filters and experiment. and just keep practicing, experiment with the tools. thats how i was able to know all the tools

Just play around with these things and practice them.
You'll eventually get the hang of them.

Yeah when you're starting to use flash don't expect to memorize everything in a month, you'll learn these things eventually,

No need to worry about, now if you want to learn them, you should study them, but as I said, you'll eventually learn with the pass of the time

You see, what will happen eventually is, instead of memorizing all these things, as you get progressively better at using them and animating in general theyll become more second nature instead of memorization. At least thats what happened with me.

memorizing everything in flash is pretty much just a time thing. I'm a relatively skilled animator and im still learning things about flash! lol sometimes ill see a button and be like "wait, what does this do again??". you just learn it all over time :)
