Well, we currently aren't going to say anything until we have a working demo, so that it'll give us motivation to work on it.

We were making good progress, but nobody is working anymore. I was waiting for sprites, but they never came...

I saw this a long time ago and I've been looking forward to this since the beginning. Good luck and please don't let this die.

Thanks man. I think we need to recruit more people to work on this. :<

I know you're the last person to be called out on laziness, but it is as I have mentioned. I think ya'll chased too many rabbits. This project when it started was not the only thing you guys were doing. You had your (now defunct) coding shop and a clan with luzoto and m0ntana. lilgster had a clan of his own and right now seems more interested in rhg biz. I know you mean well, but maybe this project was a tad too ambitious. Either that or it lost steam because it lacked a schedule or a milestone goal. Making a 'demo' seems too far-fetched to be the first milestone tbh
So sorry for calling you out on it, but it appears you've Gumballed this project if you know what I mean.

:< Yeah, I guess so. But I think that if I work on this a bit more now, and if I hire more people, (animators) and stuff, then we could actually finish this. :D

Word of Advice: Hiring people is for doing things that have already been established. Can't draw art? Put a placeholder to represent assets in your code. Can't animate (well)? Make something in reference to what will actually be the demo. And if you really can't animate then learn to do some basic anims man! Can't make music? Then goto a resource site and rip something free for the moment. Your first goal should be to create an Alpha. Not a demo. A demo is the polished bi-product of what your team makes. You're in the process of finding people who can make this a reality.
Make a detailed GDD in which you list everything you want to happen: control, assets, requirements, what platform, what language, intentions, inspirations, anything. Give the people you hire to actually work on something. Don't just hire people and then tell them what to do from scratch. If you really want to make this a reality, then you're going to have to establish a backbone. And this GDD will be like the blueprints to your project.

Oh yeah, huh... Thanks Hewitt. :)

With that said, would you like me to bin this lost cause? I understand that making an Alpha takes time >_>
