It transpires that my housemate refuses to drink the water from the sink in the bathroom, instead going all the way downstairs to use the kitchen sink. I, on the other hand, have no issue taking water from any nearby dispensary. I'll drink from the shower if necessary. We had a lengthy debate about which one of us was the weird one, but having failed to reach a decision I'm forced to resort to democracy.

So today's question is: Do you drink from the bathroom sink?

Nope. I drink from the garden hose.

But I always wondered whether you can drink water in the shower.

I brush my teeth in the shower so some of that water eventually goes in my mouth. I don't drink straight tap water because I think it tastes different from the water that goes through the filter in our refrigerator, but I used to, and I still don't think it's *particularly* unpleasant.

i don't drink from the bathroom sink because i find it to be disgusting, but i do drink from public water fountains, even though they're pretty much the same thing in regards to taste. i guess i prefer drinking from water fountains because of the fact that they were designed for drinking. bathroom sinks are for washing your hands and whatnot.

i brush my teeth in the shower too, and use the water from it to wash my mouth out. its generally warm so i don't have any want to start drinking it.
as for bathroom sinks, the kitchen is right outside the door, so i've never needed to, but i have before, just tastes as shitty as the kitchen tap.
i prefer filtered water, mmm

i dunno why ya'll think its more dangerous, same pipes, same water, different sink. but i dunno, maybe it is

it's funny, you brits have debates over which tap is more normal to drink from whereas most americans probably have a fridge full of overpriced bottled and would rather argue about which of those overpriced bottles is better to drink from

Brushing your teeth in the shower... That genius. I'll have to try it sometime.

I never have bottled water, I don't really see a point to it if you have a refrigerator with filtered water.

I drink from the sink if it's more convenient than going to the refrigerator, but if I'm on the same floor as the refrigerator I'd sure as hell drink from that, seeing as it tastes much better.

I do it mindlessly.
This is possibly the first time I've looked back and thought about if it's a good idea, even so, I'll still do it if I'm thirsty.

I used to, but then the filtered water happened to be closer to me than the bathroom.
